My Experience Of Chopta Chandrashila Trek

The Chopta Chandrashila Trek is one of the most beautiful and picturesque part of the Garhwal Himalayas. It starts from Haridwar and passes through Deoriatal, Chopta and then to Tungnath. Finally it reaches the summit of Chandrashila and offers an awesome view of the mighty Himalayas. This region is rich in flora and fauna and it is a protected sanctuary for the musk deer. In addition to that, Tunganath has the highest temple of Lord Shiva. Based on my recent trek in May 2017, I am sharing my experience and travel guide of this beautiful trek. You can be rest assured that it will give you an experience of a lifetime. The distance and connectivity of Chopta from Delhi makes it an ideal getaway for the weekend. However, I completed it in 4 days. From Chandrashila, we drove to Sari and we witnessed some wonderful scenic views. From Sari, we trekked to Deoriatal Lake. The breathtakingly beautiful and pristine lake along with the chirping of various birds created an exhilarating feeling within me. We camped near the lake. In the next morning we witnessed the excellent sunrise. We started the Chopta Chandrashila Trekking. We arrived at Chopta and it seemed that the mystic peaks welcomed us with open arms. We camped in the outskirts from where we trekked to Chandrashila and came back to Chopta by watching some of the most prominent peaks. What Is Included In Trek Package?
